We’ve all been there. You’ve had a busy week with work, errands, responsibilities, and all you want to do is kick back for the weekend. Just when you put your feet up to relax you look around and realize your house is absolute chaos and the stress starts sinking in. But fear not! We have some useful tips and tricks to help you de-clutter your at-home gym and keep your house organized so you can soak up every remaining second of sweater weather!
Fold it!
Many Z Athletic products can be folded to condense space. Fold them up and create an organized stack in an unused corner or even slide under a bed to maximize space. We suggest our Foldable Beams, Gymnastic Mats, and Incline Cheese Wedge Mats for easy, foldable storage.
Store it!
Storage benches are multi-purpose and the perfect place to keep smaller items like Grips, Wrist Supports, and Chalk. They can even double as an apparatus to help you warm up, making space for necessary larger equipment.
Hide it!
Our Foldable Floor Beam, Rollup Beam, and Pirouette Bar can be folded and condensed to fit in closets, under beds, against walls, and hidden away when the room is no longer in gym mode.
Mount it!
Pull-up bars and Rings can be a nuisance to drag in and out with each use. Try mounting them onto a wall or hanging them from the ceiling to maximize available floor space.
Stack it!
Store large mats, foldable mats and unused beams against walls, behind doors, or on racks to free up floor space. This allows a multi-use room to feel less like a gym, and more efficient for other daily activities.
Move it!
A small patio, driveway, or yard can reduce the large area needed indoors to practice. Equipment like our Beams, Low Rise Parallel Bars, Gymnastics Mats, and Incline Cheese Wedge Mats can be moved outdoors with ease and stored away safely. The Outdoor Kip Bar can be installed and ready for year round training.
Swap it!
Using the provided storage hacks leaves more room to practice on larger equipment. On top of these hacks try rotating which pieces are out on the floor depending on the skills being practiced. This provides a safe and efficient way to utilize the space you have while also giving you space to get in those necessary hours of training.
Listen, we get it. Gymnastics equipment can be bulky and take up a lot of space, which can be overwhelming. But with these simple hacks you can reclaim your space and make your house feel less like a gym and more like home.
